1 There is H3426 PART an evil H7451 AFS which H834 RPRO I have seen H7200 VQQ1MS under H8478 NMS the sun H8121 , and it H1931 PPRO-3FS is common H7227 among H5921 PREP men H120 D-NMS :
2 A man H376 NMS to whom H834 RPRO God H430 D-EDP hath given H5414 VQY3MS riches H6239 , wealth H5233 , and honor H3519 , so that he wanteth H2638 nothing H369 W-ADV-3MS for his soul H5315 of all H3605 M-CMS that H834 RPRO he desireth H183 , yet God H430 D-NAME-4MP giveth him not power H7980 to eat H398 L-VQFC thereof H4480 M-PREP-3MS , but H3588 CONJ a stranger H5237 AMS eateth H398 it : this H2088 DPRO is vanity H1892 NMS , and it H1931 PPRO-3MS is an evil H7451 AMS disease H2483 .
3 If H518 PART a man H376 NMS beget H3205 a hundred H3967 MFS children , and live H2421 many H7227 AFP years H8141 , so that the days H3117 of his years H8141 CFP-3MS be many H7227 W-JMS , and his soul H5315 W-CFS-3MS be not H3808 NADV filled H7646 with H4480 PREP good H2896 AMS , and also H1571 W-CONJ that he have H1961 no H3808 NADV burial H6900 ; I say H559 VQQ1MS , that an untimely birth H5309 is better H2896 AMS than H4480 PREP he .
4 For H3588 CONJ he cometh H935 VQPMS in with vanity H1892 , and departeth H1980 in darkness H2822 , and his name H8034 CMS-3MS shall be covered H3680 with darkness H2822 .
5 Moreover H1571 CONJ he hath not H3808 NADV seen H7200 VQQ3MS the sun H8121 , nor H3808 W-NADV known H3045 any thing : this H2088 hath more rest H5183 than the other H2088 .
6 Yea H432 , though he live H2421 a thousand H505 W-BMS years H8141 NFP twice H6471 NFD told , yet hath he seen H7200 VQQ3MS no H3808 NADV good H2896 : do not H3808 ADV all H3605 go H1980 to H413 PREP one H259 MMS place H4725 NUM-MS ?
7 All H3605 NMS the labor H5999 of man H120 D-NMS is for his mouth H6310 , and yet H1571 W-CONJ the appetite H5315 D-NFS is not H3808 NADV filled H4390 .
8 For H3588 CONJ what H4100 IPRO hath the wise H2450 more H3148 than H4480 the fool H3684 ? what H4100 IPRO hath the poor H6041 , that knoweth H3045 VQPMS to walk H1980 L-VQFC before H5048 the living H2416 ?
9 Better H2896 AMS is the sight H4758 of the eyes H5869 NMD than the wandering H1980 of the desire H5315 : this H2088 DPRO is also H1571 CONJ vanity H1892 NMS and vexation H7469 of spirit H7307 NMS .
10 That H4100 IPRO which hath been H7945 is named H7121 already H3528 , and it is known H3045 that H834 RPRO it H1931 PPRO-3MS is man H120 NMS : neither H3808 W-NPAR may H3201 VQY3MS he contend H1777 with H5973 PREP him that is mightier H8623 than H4480 M-PREP-3MS he .
11 Seeing H3588 CONJ there be H3426 PART many H7235 VHFA things H1697 NMP that increase H7235 vanity H1892 NMS , what H4100 IPRO is man H120 the better H3148 ?
12 For H3588 CONJ who H4310 IPRO knoweth H3045 VQPMS what H4100 IPRO is good H2896 for man H120 LD-NMS in this life H2416 , all H4557 CMS the days H3117 CMP of his vain H1892 life H2416 which he spendeth H6213 as a shadow H6738 KD-NMS ? for H834 RPRO who H4310 IPRO can tell H5046 VHY3MS a man H120 LD-NMS what H4100 IPRO shall be H1961 VQY3MS after H310 PREP-3MS him under H8478 NMS the sun H8121 ?
