1. And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded, saying, Keep all these commands, all that I command you this day.

2. And it shall come to pass in the day when ye shall cross over Jordan into the land which the Lord thy God gives thee, that thou shalt set up for thyself great stones, and shalt plaster them with plaster.

2. And it shall be H1961 on the day H3117 when H834 ye shall pass over H5674 H853 Jordan H3383 unto H413 the land H776 which H834 the LORD H3068 thy God H430 giveth H5414 thee , that thou shalt set thee up H6965 great H1419 stones H68 , and plaster H7874 them with plaster H7875 :

3. And thou shalt write on these stones all the words of this law, as soon as ye have crossed Jordan, when ye are entered into the land, which the Lord God of thy fathers gives thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, according as the Lord God of thy fathers said to thee.

3. And thou shalt write H3789 upon H5921 them H853 all H3605 the words H1697 of this H2063 law H8451 , when thou art passed over H5674 , that H4616 H834 thou mayest go in H935 unto H413 the land H776 which H834 the LORD H3068 thy God H430 giveth H5414 thee , a land H776 that floweth H2100 with milk H2461 and honey H1706 ; as H834 the LORD H3068 God H430 of thy fathers H1 hath promised H1696 thee.

4. And it shall be as soon as ye are gone over Jordan, ye shall set up these stones, which I command thee this day, on mount Gaebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.

4. Therefore it shall be H1961 when ye be gone over H5674 H853 Jordan H3383 , that ye shall set up H6965 H853 these H428 stones H68 , which H834 I H595 command H6680 you this day H3117 , in mount H2022 Ebal H5858 , and thou shalt plaster H7874 them with plaster H7875 .

5. And thou shalt build there an altar to the Lord thy God, an altar of stones; thou shalt not lift up iron upon it.
|
5. And there H8033 shalt thou build H1129 an altar H4196 unto the LORD H3068 thy God H430 , an altar H4196 of stones H68 : thou shalt not H3808 lift up H5130 any iron H1270 tool upon H5921 them.

|
6. Of whole stones shalt thou build an altar to the Lord thy God, and thou shalt offer upon it whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord thy God.
|
6. Thou shalt build H1129 H853 the altar H4196 of the LORD H3068 thy God H430 of whole H8003 stones H68 : and thou shalt offer H5927 burnt offerings H5930 thereon H5921 unto the LORD H3068 thy God H430 :

7. And thou shalt there offer a peace-offering; and thou shalt eat and be filled, and rejoice before the Lord thy God.
|
7. And thou shalt offer H2076 peace offerings H8002 , and shalt eat H398 there H8033 , and rejoice H8055 before H6440 the LORD H3068 thy God H430 .

8. And thou shalt write upon the stones all this law very plainly.
|

9. And Moses and the priests the Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, Be silent and hear, O Israel; this day thou art become a people to the Lord thy God.
|
9. And Moses H4872 and the priests H3548 the Levites H3881 spoke H1696 unto H413 all H3605 Israel H3478 , saying H559 , Take heed H5535 , and hearken H8085 , O Israel H3478 ; this H2088 day H3117 thou art become H1961 the people H5971 of the LORD H3068 thy God H430 .

10. And thou shalt hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and shalt do all his commands, and his ordinances, as many as I command thee this day.

10. Thou shalt therefore obey H8085 the voice H6963 of the LORD H3068 thy God H430 , and do H6213 H853 his commandments H4687 and his statutes H2706 , which H834 I H595 command H6680 thee this day H3117 .

11. And Moses charged the people on that day, saying,

12. These shall stand to bless the people on mount Garizin having gone over Jordan; Symeon, Levi, Judas, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

12. These H428 shall stand H5975 upon H5921 mount H2022 Gerizim H1630 to bless H1288 H853 the people H5971 , when ye are come over H5674 H853 Jordan H3383 ; Simeon H8095 , and Levi H3878 , and Judah H3063 , and Issachar H3485 , and Joseph H3130 , and Benjamin H1144 :

13. And these shall stand for cursing on mount Gaebal; Ruben, Gad, and Aser, Zabulon, Dan, and Nephthali.

13. And these H428 shall stand H5975 upon mount H2022 Ebal H5858 to H5921 curse H7045 ; Reuben H7205 , Gad H1410 , and Asher H836 , and Zebulun H2074 , Dan H1835 , and Naphtali H5321 .

|
14. And the Levites shall answer and say to all Israel with a loud voice,

15. Cursed is the man whosoever shall make a graven or molten image, an abomination to the Lord, the work of the hands of craftsmen, and shall put it in a secret place: and all the people shall answer and say, So be it.

Cursed H779 be the man H376 that H834 maketh H6213 any graven H6459 or molten image H4541 , an abomination H8441 unto the LORD H3068 , the work H4639 of the hands H3027 of the craftsman H2796 , and putteth H7760 it in a secret H5643 place . 16. Cursed is the man that dishonours his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, So be it.
|

17. Cursed is he that removes his neighbour’s landmarks: and all the people shall say, So be it.

18. Cursed is he that makes the blind to wander in the way: and all the people shall say, So be it.

19. Cursed is every one that shall pervert the judgement of the stranger, and orphan, and widow: and all the people shall say, So be it.

20. Cursed is he that lies with his father’s wife, because he has uncovered his father’s skirt: and all the people shall say, So be it.

21. Cursed is he that lies with any beast: and all the people shall say, So be it.

22. Cursed is he that lies with his sister by his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, So be it.

23. Cursed is he that lies with his daughter-in-law: and all the people shall say, So be it. Cursed is he that lies with his wife’s sister: and all the people shall say, So be it.

24. Cursed is he that smites his neighbour secretly: and all the people shall say, So be it.

25. Cursed is he whosoever shall have taken a bribe to Gr. to smite the life of innocent blood slay an innocent man: and all the people shall say, So be it.

26. Ga 3:10 Cursed is every man that continues not in all the words of this law to do them: and all the people shall say, So be it.
